Autogyros
Within our fixed-wing community, members who love autogyros share photos, flight stories and technical discussions about this unique category of aircraft.
An autogyro is a type of rotary-wing aircraft that uses an unpowered rotor in autorotation to develop lift. Autogyros take off and land like a helicopter but rely on an engine-powered propeller or fan for forward thrust during cruising flight.
